Delhi – Shekhawati – Jodhpur – Udaipur – Pushkar – Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri - Agra - Delhi

Day 1: Delhi

Pickup from New Delhi Airport, and transfer to hotel.  Delhi is an exciting, at times chaotic but mostly interesting mega city with lots of historic sights, museums and endless bazaars. We suggest you see Lutyen’s Delhi, India Gate and Connaught Place today depending on the time at hand.


Rajasthan: a land of magnificient forts, palaces and tales of valour. This carefully designed tour offers Rajasthan at its best along with the Taj.

Day 2: Shekhawati

Often referred to as open art gallery of Rajasthan, the region of Shekhawati (4-5 hrs fr Delhi) is famous for its incredible painted havelis (merchant’s House). Visit some of these exquisite mansions with frescos depicting mythological themes and that of daily life in old times. You can also see interesting temples and stepwells in the sleepy little towns of this semi desert region. Interesting drives amongst sand dunes, peacocks and farms are an added plus point.

Day 3: Jodhpur

Head on to the blue city of Jodhpur (5 hour drive). Home of Rathore Rajputs, Jodhpur boasts of a rich heritage and culture and has a flourishing handicrafts industry. In afternoon we visit the magnificent fort of Mehrangarh. Evening is free to explore one of the oldest markets in India around the clock tower.

Day 4: Udaipur
We visit the spectacular Jain temples of Rankpur en route to Udaipur. Surrounded by the lush hills of Aravali, with its palaces, tranquil lakes and quiet alleyways, Udaipur is an unforgettably picturesque, serene and romantic destination.

Day 5: Udaipur

Discover Udaipur with tour to Jagdish temple and Palace complex. Afternoon is free to undertake an excursion to the hilltop Monsoon Palace for panoramic views or take boat ride on lake Pichola. Udaipur has lots of interesting shopping as well.

Day 6: Pushkar

Situated on the banks of a holy lake, Pushkar is an oasis town that is a great pilgrimage centre for Hindus. It has the only temple in the world for Bramha (God of creation and a part of the holy trinity in the hindu religion). Relax and soak the atmosphere of this scenic town. Walk around in the colorful markets and hike to Savitri temple to catch breathtaking views

Day 7: Jaipur
Drive to the Pink City of Jaipur (3 hr from Pushkar), famous for its marvelous architecture and town planning. We see the colourful bazaars of Jaipur and the City Palace complex with the delicate Palace of Winds and an interesting medieval observatory. Evening free to roam the markets of the old city OR see a bollywood movie at the art deco cinema hall of Raj Mandir.

Day 8: Jaipur

Morning excursion to magnificent Amber Fort where you can have the experience of traveling on elephant back to the top of the hill where the fort is situated. We later visit the battle fort of Jaigarh, famous for the biggest canon in the world, the Jaivan and also for its cannon foundry and Tiger fort.

Day 9: Agra

Travel to Agra that is 5 hr. away. Visit the forgotten city of Fatehpur Sikari en route. Home to the Mughal kings for centuries Agra has some of the most beautiful buildings in the world. It also has nice restaurants and in the evening you can also catch a beautiful dance drama by the banks of the river OR a light and sound show that tells the history of the magnificient mughals

Day 10: Delhi

We visit the Taj Mahal and Red Fort today. Afternoon drive back to Delhi where the tour ends.
