Day 1: Welcome to Delhi,
India’s capital

Pickup from New Delhi Airport, and transfer to hotel.  Delhi is an exciting, at times chaotic but mostly interesting mega city with lots of historic sights, museums and endless bazaars. We suggest you see Lutyen’s Delhi, India Gate and Connaught Place today depending on the time at hand.

The grandeur of the Rajput and Mughal cities, the stark beauty of the Thar Desert and the romance of medieval India, all in a 15 day unforgettable time capsule.

Day 2: Delhi Site Seeing
And Drive to Jaipur
Today morning visit some of Delhi most rewarding monuments of Humanyun's Tomb and Qutub Minar Complex. Later after lunch drive to the pink city of India, Jaipur (5 hrs). On arrival at Jaipur transfer to Hotel.

Day 3: Jaipur Vision
Explore the wonders of Jaipur on the full day city tour. You drive through the Johari Bazaar, or the old jeweler’s market to Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds).Visit the various museums inside the City Palace and the ancient observatory, Jantar Mantar.
See the forts at Amber and visit the world’s largest cannon at Jaigarh Fort.  Evening can be spent at leisure or attend an interesting class in indian cookery at the hotel. (Please request in the morning for the hotel to be able to arrange the cookery lesson)

Day 4: Bikaner and
Indian Desert

Morning drive to Bikaner. En-route visit the town of Fatehpur, famous for its incredibly painted havelis (Merchant's House). On arrival at Bikaner visit the India’s only Camel research centre (open 3-5 pm) or take an excursion to Karni Mata temple at Deshnok (1 hour drive away), famous for its holy rats.

Day 5: Camel Safari,
Camping on  dunes
Morning visit to the Lalgarh fortBuild from red sandstone the palaces have intricately carved windows, delicate balconies, towers and kiosks, temples and pavilions. The highlights are the Chandra Mahal or the Moon Palace decorated beautifully with mirrors, paintings and carved marble panels.

Later embark on a camel safari in the heart of Thar desert. Tonight you spend the night in comfortable luxury camp in the desert. All meals are included while camping.

Day 6: The Golden Fort of India,
Drive to Jaiselmer

Rising from the heart of Thar desert is the Golden Fort of Jaiselmer (5 hr from Bikaner), etched in yellow sand stone. In evening, have a walk to explore the vibrant markets and beautiful carved houses hidden in twisting alleys of this magical desert town.

Day 7: Jaiselmer’s Living Fort,
Deserted Villages And Dunes

In morning, explore the lively fort bustling with many houses, restaurants  and shops. Also visit the intricately carved “Patwon ki haveli and old Jain temples. In afternoon we will drive into the heart of Thar to visit the deserted village of Kuldhara and the sand dunes at Sam.

Day 8: Drive to Jodhpur

Morning travel to Jodhpur. En-route visit the small town of Osiyan , famous for its beautifully sculpted Jain and Hindu temples.

The city of Jodhpur is famous for its blue houses. Evening free to explore the vibrant markets around the clock tower, loaded with, clothing, grocery and spices.

Day 9: Jodhpur Site Seeing
And Rankpur/ Khumbhalgarh Fort

Morning visit the magnificent Mehrangarh fort at Jodhpur. It is situated on a 150m high hill. Rao Jodha, the then chief of Rathore clan, constructed it in 1459.There are several attractions within the fort like galleries, museums, temples and so on. 

Later drive to Ranakpur (2-3 hrs) nestled amongst the lush hills of Aravali. With its hilltop fort of Khumbhalgarh, ancient Jain temples and a beautiful nature park, Ranakpur offers several surprises to its visitors.


Day 10: Jeep Safari,
Drive to Udaipur

Morning jeep safari around Khumbhalgarh game sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to abundant wildlife like Indian wolves, leopard, sloth bear, deers etc. Later drive to Udaipur (2-3 hrs drive), the most romantic city of India. In the evening we can catch a stirring light and sound show at the Palace or a nice folk music and dance SHOW AT Baggar Ki Haveli.

Day 11: Udaipur City Tour
Discover the wonders of this picturesque city on site seeing tour to Jagdish temple and City Place. Afternoon free to undertake an excursion to the hilltop Monsoon Palace for panoramic views of the city or take a boat ride on lake Pichola, a great way to spend the evening.

Day 12: Heritage Stay At Bundi

Bundi is often described as the undiscovered jewel of Rajasthan with impressive monuments like Taragarh fort, Garh Palace, ancient temples and fascinating frescoes depicting the scenes from past.  You stay here at a tastefully restored heritage palace.

Day 13: Tiger Land

Travel to Ranthambore Tiger reserve, one of the original Project Tiger Reserves of India. During your stay take safaris into the park with its lakes, scrublands and ruined palaces, as well as abundant wildlife spotting including crocodiles, deer, birds and monkeys. If  lucky, you may even see tigers, leopards and sloth bears.

Day 14: Tryst with
Mughal Magnificence

After morning safari drive to Drive to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, popularly known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park. It is a World Heritage site and has more than 400 species of birds that winter here. Also visit the forgotten town of Fatehpur Sikri , a great example of Mughal architectural splendor.

Day 15: The Taj Mahal

Early morning visit to Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. Later drive back to Delhi where the tour ends.
