Delhi – Jaipur – Pushkar – Udaipur – Bijaipur – Ranthambore – Fatehpur Sikri - Agra - Delhi

Day 1: Arrive at Delhi

Pickup from New Delhi Airport and transfer to hotel in Delhi. Delhi is an exciting, at times chaotic but always interesting mega city with many historic sights, museums and endless bazaars. We suggest you see Lutyen’s Delhi, India Gate and Connaught Place today depending on the time at hand.

A short trip that tries to capture the essence of South Rajasthan, Jaipur and the glories of the Mughal Empire.

Day 2 & 3: Jaipur

On day 2 we see Humanyun’s tomb and Qutub Minar complex and then drive to Jaipur reaching by the evening (5-6 hr drive). Famous for its Marvelous architecture and town planning, the pink city of India is truly an enchanting city. During your stay take excursion to magnificent Amber Fort, perched on a hilltop outside town, visit the various museums inside the City Palace and the ancient observatory, Jantar Mantar and wander around the busy streets of the old city.

Day 4: Pushkar

Welcome to the serene oases town, with its many holy men, pilgrims and temples a visit to Pushkar is truly enchanting. Wonder around sacred ghats, shop for souvenirs and hike up to hilltop Savitri temple for great views or spending time at one of the many relaxing cafes in town. Pushkar is a short 3 hr drive from Jaipur.

Day 5 & 6: Udaipur

Udaipur, with its palaces, tranquil lakes and quiet alleyways is surely the most whimsical and serene places in Rajasthan. (5 hrs from Pushkar)

Discover the wonders of this picturesque city. There are many places worth seeing, including the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, water gardens of Saheliyon ki Bari, Pratap Memorial and Sajjangarh. Udaipur also has interesting bazaars iin old city byelanes. Its many lakes and evening shows like light and sound show at Palace, Folk music and dance show at Baggar ki Haveli etc make for interesting activities as well.

Day 7: Bijaipur

Drive to Bijaipur, an remote village in the heart of rural Rajasthan. We sta in a 17th century castle, now converted into a charming heritage hotel. Explore the surrounding villages on a jeep safari (payable extra) to experience the lifestyle of tribal community. There are ample options to fill in your time like horse riding, picnic lunch on a beautiful nearby lake and Ayurvedic Massages.

Day 8: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
Travel to Ranthambore National Park, one of the original Project Tiger Reserves of India. During your stay take safaris into the park with its lakes, scrublands and ruined palaces, as well as abundant wildlife spotting including crocodiles, deer, birds and monkeys. If  lucky, you may even see tigers, leopards and sloth bears.

Day 9: Agra

Travel to Agra and also visit the forgotten city of Fatehpur Sikari en-route. Agra was ruled by the Mughal kings for centuries and has some of the most beautiful monuments of India.


Day 10: Delhi
We see the Taj Mahal and Red fort and then drive on to Delhi where the tour ends.
